Auch Toleranzen sind keine einzelne Zahl: ASTM B348 verweist sie auf ihre Ma\u00dftabellen (ASTM B348, Abmessungen, Gewicht und zul\u00e4ssige Abweichungen), weshalb eine Klasse oder ein Plus-Minus-Wert mit der Abmessung gepaart werden muss, auf die er sich bezieht. Die Angabe eines Querschnitts legt die Geometrie fest. Sie legt f\u00fcr sich genommen nicht die Toleranz fest und \u00fcbertr\u00e4gt keinen Toleranztabelleneintrag von einem Querschnitt auf einen anderen.
