How the six company pages were selected
We ran the query nickel alloy suppliers on Google with United States and English settings on 2026-08-29 and froze the first page of organic results. We included a result when the company owned the ranking URL and that URL was a nickel-alloy product, category or supply-capability page. Directories, market reports, list articles, marketplaces and Beiyu’s own site were excluded by the same rule.
Six company pages met the rule. Their sequence reproduces the accepted result order after exclusions; it does not compare quality, capacity, delivery, price or suitability for a future order.

Nickel-alloy company pages that met the rule
| Company page | Role and product focus stated on its site | Alloy families stated | Forms or dimensions the page publishes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Magellan Metals | Supplier with nickel-alloy manufacturing and distribution options | Nickel 200/201, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy, Incoloy, Haynes, Waspaloy, MP35N, Invar and other specialty alloys | Pipe, tube, bar, wire, sheet, plate, forgings, fittings, flanges and weld rod; no numeric hub-wide envelope |
| Continental Steel & Tube | Supplier focused on nickel and high-temperature alloys | Nickel 200/201, Monel, Inconel, Alloy 800/825, Hastelloy and other listed families | Broad form-by-alloy specification table; no numeric size envelope on the reviewed hub |
| Titanium Industries | Specialty-metal supplier and service center focused here on round and hollow bar | Alloy 625 / N06625, Alloy 718 / N07718 and Waspaloy / N07001 | Round-bar and hollow-bar ranges are stated in inch and metric pairs; the pairs require unit confirmation |
| voestalpine Specialty Metals North America | Supplier specializing on this page in precision nickel-alloy bar | Alloy 718 and API variants, Alloy 725 / N07725 and Alloy 925 / N09925 | Bar is explicit; no numeric bar envelope on the reviewed page |
| Texas Pipe Family of Companies | PVF distribution group with manufacturing solutions | Alloy 20, 200/201, 400, 600, 625, 800 series, 825 and C-276, depending on form | Pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, tubing and round bar; tubing 1/8 to 1 in and round bar 1/2 to 1 in |
| Vulcan Metal Group | Nickel-alloy supplier with machining and drawing-based part services | Nickel 200 series, low-expansion and magnetic alloys, Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy, multiphase and thermocouple alloys | A per-alloy matrix spanning sheet, bar, plate, strip, forging, wire, tube, pipe and other forms; no numeric envelope |
Not stated means that the reviewed page does not give the field. It does not mean the company cannot quote it.
The alloy list is only half of the buying decision
The six results expose different slices of the nickel market. A broad alloy hub, a bar specialist and a PVF distributor should not receive the same one-line enquiry.
| Page type in this sample | Companies | What the page answers first |
|---|---|---|
| Broad multi-form alloy supplier | Magellan Metals, Continental Steel & Tube and Vulcan Metal Group | Which alloy families and product forms are represented |
| Bar and hollow-bar route | Titanium Industries and voestalpine Specialty Metals North America | Which high-strength nickel grades and bar routes the page emphasizes |
| Pipe, valve and fitting route | Texas Pipe Family of Companies | Which PVF forms and alloy families are grouped for a piping enquiry |
The correct next question is not “which page lists the most alloys?” It is “which alloy, form and governing specification describe the part on the drawing?”
Trade name, UNS and product specification do different jobs
| Identity field | What it settles | Example from the reviewed pages |
|---|---|---|
| Family or trade name | Points to an alloy family but may not fix the exact chemistry | Inconel, Monel and Hastelloy appear across broad supplier hubs |
| UNS | Fixes material identity across trade-name variations | Alloy 625 / N06625 and Alloy 718 / N07718 are paired on Titanium Industries |
| Product form | Separates bar, plate, tube, pipe, fitting and forging requirements | Texas Pipe groups PVF forms; voestalpine’s reviewed body is bar-focused |
| Product specification | Defines the requirements for that alloy in that form | Continental maps Nickel 200/201 bar to B160 and sheet/plate to B162 |
Three specification strings worth resolving before quotation
| Published page signal | What needs resolution | Buyer action |
|---|---|---|
| Continental labels tube as seamless and welded, then lists B161 and B163 | B161 and B163 are seamless-product routes; a welded product needs its governing welded specification | Return alloy, construction and one exact tube or pipe standard |
| Titanium Industries gives round- and hollow-bar bounds as inch/mm pairs that do not convert directly | The order needs one governing unit and dimension | State the requested diameter in one unit and ask the supplier to confirm the converted value |
| Texas Pipe publishes combined B/SB specification strings | ASTM B and ASME SB naming should not remain merged on the purchase line | Identify whether the project requires the ASTM or ASME form of the specification |
These are clarification points in public page wording, not supplier scores.
A numeric nickel supply envelope outside the list
The company table uses only those companies’ pages. Beiyu’s family-level ranges stay outside the list:
| Beiyu nickel-family form | Published supply envelope | Specification field to return |
|---|---|---|
| Round bar | 5 to 300 mm diameter; length up to 6,000 mm | Alloy/UNS, bar standard, condition and diameter |
| Sheet | 0.8 to 3.0 mm thick; width up to 1,200 mm | Alloy/UNS, sheet standard, thickness and width |
| Plate | 3.0 to 70 mm thick; width up to 2,500 mm | Alloy/UNS, plate standard, thickness and width |
| Seamless tube | 5 to 325 mm OD; wall 0.5 to 12 mm | Alloy/UNS, seamless-tube standard, OD and wall |
| Welded tube | 6.35 to 1,219 mm OD | Alloy/UNS, welded construction and governing standard |
These are Beiyu’s supply-envelope limits for the nickel family. They do not state stock or that every alloy, form and size combination is supplied.

One alloy, three product standards
Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 show why alloy name alone cannot finish an order:
| Material identity | Product form | Verified ASTM route |
|---|---|---|
| Nickel 200 / N02200 or Nickel 201 / N02201 | Bar | ASTM B160 |
| Nickel 200 / N02200 or Nickel 201 / N02201 | Sheet and plate | ASTM B162 |
| Nickel 200 / N02200 or Nickel 201 / N02201 | Seamless condenser and heat-exchanger tube | ASTM B163 |
The material identity stays the same while the product-form specification changes. A B163 tube line does not follow the alloy onto welded tube, plate or bar.
Fields to send before comparing nickel-alloy quotations
| RFQ field | Why it changes the quotation | What should come back |
|---|---|---|
| Alloy and UNS | Trade names and family names can cover more than one commercial designation | One exact alloy/UNS pair |
| Service chemistry and temperature | Corrosion and temperature duty determine whether the chosen family is appropriate | Material confirmation tied to the stated service window |
| Product form and construction | Bar, plate, seamless tube, welded tube and pipe use different routes | One product form and construction |
| Governing ASTM or ASME specification | The standard follows the form, not only the alloy name | One exact designation rather than a B/SB shorthand |
| Dimensions and governing unit | Mixed inch/mm web values can introduce a conversion error | Confirmed finished dimensions and tolerances in the order unit |
| Condition, surface and examination scope | These fields determine downstream fabrication and acceptance | Agreed condition, finish and examination basis |
| Marking, packing and document scope | Alloy identity must remain with the material through receipt | Agreed identification and reporting fields |
Limits of a public-page comparison
A public supplier page cannot establish current availability, processing capacity, service performance of a future heat or the result of an examination not yet performed. It may also group standards and forms more broadly than a purchase order can. Use the table to identify a likely supply route, then compare returned quotations on the same alloy/UNS, form, construction, specification, dimensions, condition and inspection scope.
Where Beiyu Titanium sits
Beiyu Titanium published this page and is deliberately outside the list. Beiyu reviews nickel-family bar, sheet, plate, seamless tube and welded tube against the separate numeric envelope above. The alloy/UNS, service condition, form, construction, governing standard, dimensions, condition, surface, examination and reporting scope are fixed before the route is confirmed.
Specification detail with sources
Company roles, alloy families, forms and public dimensional fields come only from the six linked company pages, checked 2026-08-29. The specification cross-check uses the current product-form scopes represented by ASTM B160 for Nickel 200/201 bar, B162 for sheet and plate and B163 for seamless condenser and heat-exchanger tube. Beiyu’s family-level sizes come from its current nickel product catalog and remain subject to alloy/form review.
