Titanium Porous Material
Porous titanium plate and titanium fiber sintered felt for filtration, gas diffusion, electrochemical and flow-control uses.
Titanium porous materials are used where corrosion resistance, permeability, controlled pore structure or biocompatibility-related design is required. Products in this category include sintered porous titanium plate, titanium fiber sintered felt and porous titanium parts made for filtration, gas diffusion, electrochemical systems, flow distribution, medical-related structures and corrosion-resistant industrial components. RFQs should include grade, pore size or filtration rating, porosity, thickness, diameter or sheet size, operating medium, temperature, pressure drop requirement and cleaning method. For drawing-based porous parts, dimensional tolerance, edge treatment, welding or bonding area and inspection requirements should be confirmed before quotation. If the part will be cleaned, backflushed, welded or assembled into another housing, those details should be included because they affect pore structure selection and handling requirements.

Porous titanium plate and titanium fiber sintered felt are specified by pore structure and operating conditions, not by grade alone. The RFQ should connect pore rating, porosity or permeability with the medium, pressure, temperature, flow target and cleaning method.
| Product form | Common selection context | RFQ inputs to define |
|---|---|---|
| Sintered porous titanium plate | Filtration, diffusion, flow control and electrochemical equipment | Grade, pore size or filtration rating, porosity target, thickness, dimensions and edge condition |
| Titanium fiber sintered felt | Filter media, gas diffusion layers and electrochemical components | Thickness, porosity, pore rating, permeability, sheet size or custom shape and cutting tolerance |
Application review: State the process medium, temperature, pressure, required flow or filtration result and whether the material will be cleaned, welded or assembled. Inspection method, cleanliness and packing are confirmed against the agreed specification and purchase order.
Send the form, grade, pore or filtration requirement, dimensions, operating conditions, quantity and cleaning or packing requirement.
Request a porous titanium quoteHow ordering works for porous titanium materials
Porous plate and fiber felt are reviewed against functional inputs before dimensions are finalized. Buyers should define the medium, pore or filtration requirement, target porosity or permeability where applicable, operating pressure and temperature, cleaning method and assembly route.
Price and lead time depend on product form, pore structure, thickness, dimensions, cut shape, tolerance, cleaning, inspection and packing scope. Sample or validation requirements should be stated before production. Minimum quantity, stock position and delivery schedule are confirmed in the quotation after the application and specification are reviewed.
Titanium Porous Material RFQ questions
Which Titanium Porous Material grade should be specified?
Select the grade by service medium, strength requirement, forming or machining route and any buyer drawing. Common options in this category include Gr 1/2, Porous plate, Fiber felt, Custom pore size.
Which standards apply to Titanium Porous Material RFQs?
The purchase order should state the applicable material or project standard. Typical references for this category include Pore rating, Porosity, Thickness tolerance, Clean packing.
What information should be sent for quotation?
Send grade, standard, dimensions, tolerance, quantity, surface condition, application, destination and required documents such as MTC or EN 10204 3.1.

Specification detail with sources
ISO 4003 and ASTM E128 give porous titanium its checkable numbers: ISO 4003 defines the bubble point test used to state a largest pore diameter for permeable sintered metal, and ASTM E128 covers maximum pore diameter and permeability measurement for rigid porous filters. The base metal still answers to the CP titanium chemistry published in ASTM B265, where Grade 1 caps oxygen at 0.18 percent and iron at 0.20 percent while Grade 2 allows oxygen to 0.25 percent, so a porous RFQ should name the CP grade as well as the pore rating.
Beiyu supplies the dense CP titanium built around a porous element from its own documented envelope, sheet from 0.5 to 3 mm for frames and backing, bar from 1 to 500 mm diameter for machined end fittings and housings, and seamless tube from 5 to 325 mm outside diameter with 0.5 to 12 mm walls for cores and connection spools, and that material carries chemical analysis through one of two laboratory routes with MTC and EN 10204 3.1 by order scope. For the porous element itself Beiyu quotes strictly from the stated values on the RFQ and reviews five fields before quotation, grade, pore rating, porosity, thickness and operating medium, rather than assuming a filtration duty the drawing does not state.
