ASTM chemistry limits are what actually separate the two pure nickel grades: Nickel 200 allows carbon up to 0.15 percent while Nickel 201 caps it at 0.02 percent, and both require 99.0 percent minimum nickel. That carbon ceiling is why ASM Handbook and producer data place continuous service for Nickel 200 at no more than 315 C, with Nickel 201 taking the duty above that temperature where the higher carbon grade would embrittle through graphitization.
Beiyu quotes Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 tube against ASTM B163 from its documented supply envelope: capillary tube from 1 to 5 mm outside diameter with 0.1 to 2 mm walls in lengths to 6,000 mm, seamless tube from 5 to 325 mm outside diameter with 0.5 to 12 mm walls and welded tube from 6.35 to 1,219 mm outside diameter, seamless and welded both in lengths to 12,000 mm, with pure nickel wire from 0.5 to 6.0 mm alongside. Before quotation Beiyu reviews six fields on every pure nickel RFQ, grade, standard, dimensions, tolerance, surface condition and inspection scope, and release runs chemical analysis through one of two laboratory routes followed by dimensional inspection and third party inspection when the order agrees it.
Supply envelope for commercially pure nickel
Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 are separated by carbon content, so the enquiry has to name the number rather than describe the metal. Once the grade is fixed, the form decides the range.

Nickel 201 is the low carbon version, specified for extended service at elevated temperature where the carbon carried by Nickel 200 leads to embrittlement. Bar is quoted against ASME SB-160 and ASTM B160, plate against ASME SB-162 and ASTM B162, and seamless tube against ASME SB-163 and ASTM B163. Wire and welded tube are supplied to the applicable ASME or ASTM nickel specification, confirmed with the order rather than assumed from the form. The UNS number rather than the common name is what fixes the composition table on the certificate.
