Grade 5 Titanium Foil Suppliers: Five Company Pages Compared

Grade 5 titanium foil is an ultra-thin Ti-6Al-4V product, but supplier pages do not use the foil boundary consistently. A line may be sold as foil, thin sheet, strip, coil or cut pieces. UNS R56400 chemistry alone cannot define usable material: the order needs thickness and tolerance, width, condition or temper, surface, edge, flatness or coil set, pinhole or light-tightness criteria and packing. This comparison keeps five company claims attributed and turns them into a common return schedule.

How this five-company source set was built

We froze the search Grade 5 titanium foil supplier Ti-6Al-4V on 1 September 2026. Eligible sources had to be company-owned, explicitly name Grade 5 or Ti-6Al-4V foil, and expose a dimension, standard, condition, delivery form or processing field. Beiyu, marketplaces, directories, rankings and excluded geographies were removed. A first-party PDF qualified when it supplied the company’s own product range. The five pages are discovery sources only; the offered lot must be verified independently.

Company-owned pages and the quotation-level evidence still required.
Company Page type What the page exposes What the buyer must verify
Goodfellow Grade 5 foil group Ti-6Al-4V foil configurations, dimensions and condition fields Exact catalogue/custom line, tolerance, usable area, lot and documents
Supra Alloys Company product PDF Titanium sheet, strip and foil sourcing context Explicit Grade 5 foil offer, exact gauge, form, source, condition and release

Define the foil boundary and usable area

State the contractual product form instead of assuming every ultra-thin listing uses the same boundary. Give finished thickness, whether tolerance applies locally or to an average, the measurement instrument and the sampling grid. Define usable width and edge exclusion, cut-piece dimensions or coil build, rolling direction and delivery condition. If pinholes matter, write the light source, inspection distance, defect size/count and edge zone into the order. A website minimum thickness does not establish routine capability, tolerance or current production for the requested width.

Fields to freeze before technical and commercial comparison.
Decision field Buyer input Required supplier return
Identity/route Grade 5 / UNS R56400 and controlling B265, AMS or customer revision Actual heat, condition, source, route and exceptions
Thickness Finished gauge, local/average tolerance, method and sampling grid Capability, measurement system, results and usable-area map
Width/form Coil or cut pieces, width/length, edge, rolling direction and splice rule Actual configuration, daughter-coil or pack map and deviations
Surface/shape Finish, scratches, roll marks, flatness, coil set and contamination Inspection method, acceptance record and protective handling
Pinholes Light-tightness setup, defect size/count and excluded edge zone Inspection coverage, criteria, results and repair prohibition

Where quotations diverge in practice

For a formed diaphragm or laminated component, give the finished blank, draw depth, critical radii, tool-contact face, rolling direction and joining or bonding process. Trial material should come from the intended production route because gauge variation, surface friction and coil set can change forming results. If the foil is welded, diffusion bonded or used in vacuum, identify cleanliness and separator restrictions. For continuous feed, add core ID, maximum coil diameter or mass, winding direction, telescoping limit and splice rule. Cut pieces need interleave, flatness, corner protection and a count tied to the heat and parent coil.

Titanium Foil Sheet Gr5
Beiyu Grade 5 thin-sheet and foil reference. It is not associated with a compared company and does not establish B265 compliance, pinhole acceptance or coil configuration.

Receiving inspection and traceability traps

Receiving teams should not test foil as though it were ordinary sheet. Verify R56400 identity, standard revision, condition, actual chemistry, parent coil and finished-pack mapping first. Measure thickness using the agreed method without crushing or creasing the sample. Check width, edge, surface, coil set or flatness and pinholes under the contractual setup. Preserve separators and moisture protection during inspection. Typical tensile values and broad catalogue gauge ranges are not lot results. Record which face and edge zone were inspected so a later forming problem can be traced to material position.

Send one controlled RFQ return schedule

Send the same return schedule to every candidate and require line-by-line answers. Keep blank cells, options and exceptions visible. Compare the material route, dimensions, processing, inspection and certificate package before totals, because a lower price may describe a different deliverable. Ask each seller to date the return, name the quoted source and state how long technical and commercial assumptions remain valid. Record every clarification in the final order instead of leaving it in a separate email chain.

A compact technical and commercial normalization schedule.

How Beiyu handles the same enquiry

Beiyu sits outside the five-company comparison. Its Grade 5 foil enquiry route fixes R56400 identity, the governing specification, contractual foil form, thickness and tolerance method, width or cut size, condition, rolling direction, surface, flatness or coil set, pinhole rule, edge, coil or pack build, traceability, quantity and destination. It confirms whether that exact combination is producible instead of treating a broad sheet-and-foil range as stock evidence.

Use the Grade 5 titanium foil, general titanium foil suppliers comparison, ASTM B265 sheet, plate and strip guide, how to compare titanium quotations to verify the product route, broader supplier landscape and adjacent procurement controls. Send the drawing, quantity, inspection scope, required date and destination with the controlled schedule. Resolve every returned exception before award.

Specification detail with sources

Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B265, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.

Beiyu supplies foil 0.02 to 0.3 mm thick in widths to 600 mm, and sheet from 0.5 mm upward in widths to 1500 mm.

These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B265 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
