Product Introduction
Beta Titanium Alloy Sheet for Drawing-Based Industrial Requirements
Beiyu supplies beta titanium alloy sheet for buyers who need titanium sheet with alloy-specific strength, forming response or heat-treatment behavior. Unlike commercially pure Grade 1 or Grade 2 sheet, beta titanium alloy sheet should be quoted according to the exact alloy grade, standard, heat treatment condition and end-use requirement.
Because beta titanium alloys can vary significantly in chemistry and mechanical properties, the RFQ should include the drawing, material specification or target standard. This avoids treating different beta alloy sheets as interchangeable materials.
Grade, Standard and Condition
| Material type | Beta or near-beta titanium alloy sheet, quoted according to buyer specification. |
|---|---|
| Grade selection | Grade must be confirmed from drawing, ASTM / AMS specification or project material list. |
| Condition | Annealed, solution treated, aged or other heat-treatment condition as required by the specification. |
| Surface condition | Pickled, cold rolled, hot rolled, polished or project-specified surface condition. |
Size, Tolerance and Technical Review
RFQs should specify thickness, width, length, tolerance, flatness, surface finish, edge condition and quantity. If the sheet will be formed, stamped, machined or welded, the buyer should describe the process route or include a drawing so material condition and tolerance can be reviewed.
For aerospace-related, medical-related or high-stress industrial applications, buyers should provide the applicable material standard and required mechanical property range. Do not rely only on the phrase "beta titanium sheet" when the project requires a controlled alloy.
Common Applications
- Aerospace-related sheet components specified by alloy and standard
- Medical-related components where the material is defined by drawing
- High-strength titanium sheet parts and spring-related components
- Precision formed or machined titanium alloy parts
- Industrial components requiring alloy-specific mechanical properties
Inspection and Documentation
For traceable orders, buyers can request mill test certificate, EN10204 3.1 documentation, heat number traceability, chemical composition, mechanical properties and dimensional inspection. Depending on the specification, hardness testing, ultrasonic testing, PMI testing or third-party inspection can be requested before shipment.
Packaging and Export Information
Titanium alloy sheet should be protected from scratches, bending and mixed-material contamination. Sheets may be packed with protective film, paper separation, pallets or wooden cases according to size, surface finish and shipment method. Labels should show alloy grade, size, heat number and quantity when traceability is required.
Beta Titanium Sheet Specification Snapshot
| Type | Beta titanium alloy sheet, supplied against drawing and customer specification. |
|---|---|
| Alloys | Including Ti-15V-3Cr-3Sn-3Al and other beta systems when specified by the buyer. |
| Thickness / size | Sheet-gauge orders are commonly reviewed in the 0.5-3 mm range, with width, length and condition confirmed by RFQ. |
| Condition | Solution treated or customer-specified condition. |
| Use | Formed high-strength parts where cold formability before aging is the driver. |
| Certificate | EN 10204 3.1 MTC to the cited specification. |
Beta alloys run on the exact customer specification: send alloy designation, specification note, thickness and forming route so the condition is reviewed before quoting.

- Thickness, width, length, tolerance and flatness requirement
- Surface condition and edge condition
- Quantity, destination and delivery requirement
- Certificate, inspection and third-party documentation requirements
FAQ
Is beta titanium alloy sheet the same as Grade 2 titanium sheet?
No. Grade 2 is commercially pure titanium, while beta titanium alloy sheet refers to alloyed titanium materials with different chemistry and mechanical behavior. The exact grade must be confirmed from the project specification.
What should be included in a beta titanium sheet RFQ?
Include alloy grade, standard, heat treatment condition, thickness, width, length, tolerance, surface condition, quantity and required documents.
Can beta titanium alloy sheet be quoted from a drawing?
Yes. A drawing or material specification is preferred because beta alloy sheet requirements depend on grade, condition, mechanical properties and final processing route.

Specification detail with sources
Beta titanium sheet does not always need an AMS route: ASTM B265 itself registers metastable beta grades, including Grade 19, the Ti-3Al-8V-6Cr-4Mo-4Zr alloy under UNS R58640, and Grade 21 under UNS R58210. Where a drawing permits a B265 basis, those grade numbers give beta sheet the same specification framework as CP material, although most beta procurement still arrives citing an AMS or customer document that names the alloy and condition directly.
Beiyu's June 2026 product brochure lists Ti-15333 in its flat-product grade list and publishes three form bands for quotation: foil 0.02 to 0.3 mm thick at widths to 600 mm; sheet and thin plate 0.5 to 3 mm thick at widths to 1500 mm and lengths to 6000 mm; and plate 3 to 70 mm thick at widths to 2500 mm and lengths to 6000 mm. These figures are capability limits, not a statement that every grade, size and condition combination is available. Beiyu confirms the ordered Ti-15333 combination at quotation; other beta alloys are reviewed from the drawing, chemistry and condition rather than treated as interchangeable list items.
