Grade 12 Titanium Tube Suppliers: Five Company Pages Compared

Titanium tube product form

Grade 12 titanium tube uses molybdenum and nickel to strengthen commercially pure titanium and improve resistance in selected reducing and crevice-corrosion conditions. Procurement still turns on the exact tubular standard and duty: ASTM B338 exchanger tube is not automatically interchangeable with ASTM B861 seamless pipe. Five company-owned sources met the rule and expose the decisions that belong on one tube schedule.

How the five company sources were selected

We froze the query Grade 12 titanium tube supplier ASTM B338 UNS R53400 on 1 September 2026. Eligible company-owned pages had to identify Grade 12 tube or pipe and expose the alloy plus a standard, manufacturing route, dimension, inspection or certificate field. Beiyu, marketplaces, directories, third-party rankings and generic titanium tube pages without a Grade 12 route were removed. Source order is a discovery snapshot, not a capability score.

A public page can identify a likely supply route. It cannot prove allocated stock, a current program approval, final schedule, lot compliance or suitability of material not yet produced or assigned. Those points remain dated quotation fields.

Company pages that met the rule

Fields visible on five company-owned sources
Company source Page role Visible fields RFQ check
Alleima Company Grade 12 datasheet Seamless tube/pipe material, chemistry, mechanical and corrosion context Confirm current orderable size, standard, source and quotation-specific test package
TSM Technology Grade 12 tube page B338/B861, cold-rolling/pilger route, dimensions and tube-test fields Choose the standard, route and ordered tests; request actual results rather than page claims
Daxun Grade 12 pipe/tube page R53400, B338/B861, multiple product forms and supply context Separate exchanger tube from process pipe and freeze the finished dimensions/condition
Baoji Fairy Titanium Grade 12 seamless tubular page R53400 chemistry, B338/B861/B862 labels and size range Require one exact product route, current edition, Mo/Ni result and release package
Lihua Non-ferrous Grade 12 B861 product page Seamless dimensions, chemistry/mechanical tables and document language Verify correct standard scope, dimensions, manufacturing route and ordered examination

These sources mix tube and pipe terminology and span mill, distributor and export-manufacturer roles. The comparison is useful only after the buyer freezes OD, wall, length, standard, route, tubesheet or piping interface and test methods. A listed size range does not establish tooling, raw-material availability or a current production slot.

Tie Grade 12 tube tests to the exchanger duty

Decisions that must remain separate on the purchase line
Decision Choices visible in the source set Required written return
Duty/form B338 condenser/exchanger tube, B861 seamless pipe or another engineered tubular item One standard/edition, duty and interface per purchase line
Heat chemistry Grade 12 / UNS R53400 with Mo, Ni and controlled interstitials Actual heat/product results, source and traceability through every tube
Manufacture Seamless pierced/extruded/cold-pilgered, welded or welded-and-drawn; final anneal Ordered route, thermal history, repairs and process records
Tube geometry OD, wall, length, ovality, straightness, ends and tubesheet expansion allowance Finished tolerance return and bundle/tubesheet interface check
Tube acceptance Eddy current or UT, hydro/pneumatic, tensile, flattening/flaring, surface and cleanliness Applicable methods, reference standard, coverage, criteria and reports

A heat-exchanger order must connect mill acceptance to fabrication. Define whether tubes will be expanded, welded or both at the tubesheet, and provide the hole, ligament, projection and preparation requirements. Wall and ovality need to remain suitable for the joining process across the full length, not only at one measured end. State whether each tube receives eddy-current, ultrasonic or pressure testing and name the reference defect, calibration and rejection rule. For welded or welded-and-drawn material, identify seam treatment and examination rather than assuming the seam disappears. Grade 12 corrosion selection depends on actual acid/chloride composition, concentration, temperature, aeration, velocity and crevice geometry; catalogue application language is not a corrosion guarantee.

For a retube bundle, freeze the existing tubesheet bore survey, baffle-hole clearance, unsupported span, vibration history, plugging allowance and bundle insertion sequence. A nominal OD that fits the drawing may still bind at baffles if ovality, bow or transit damage consumes the assembly clearance. Define expanded length, groove geometry, roller setting, pullout qualification, seal-weld sequence and mock-up acceptance. Eddy-current calibration should reflect the ordered alloy, wall and expected flaw orientation; hydrostatic testing answers a different question. Packaging needs capped ends, dry interiors, row identification and support that prevents fretting during shipment. These bundle controls distinguish exchanger tubing from schedule pipe.

A conflict between visible page fields is a verification prompt, not proof that a company cannot supply the item. Preserve the difference, request a clean technical return and let the purchase order control final identity, geometry, responsibility and acceptance.

Where Beiyu fits

Beiyu is outside the five-company set. Its Grade 12 tube route asks for process and thermal duty, UNS R53400 identity with actual Mo/Ni results, B338 exchanger tube or B861 pipe, seamless/welded route, OD/wall/length and tubesheet interface, anneal, ET/UT/pressure/flattening/flaring scope, cleanliness, original documents, quantity, packing and destination.

The fields in this section describe only Beiyu’s published enquiry route. They do not score the companies above and do not transfer to another company’s catalogue.

Specification detail with sources

Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B338, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.

Beiyu supplies seamless tube OD 5 to 325 mm with 0.5 to 12 mm wall in lengths to 12000 mm, welded tube OD 6.35 to 1219 mm with 0.5 to 25.4 mm wall in lengths to 22000 mm, and capillary OD 1 to 5 mm with 0.1 to 2 mm wall.

These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B338 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
