Grade 7 titanium pipe combines commercially pure titanium with palladium for difficult corrosion service, but alloy identity alone does not choose the product. ASTM B861 seamless pipe, ASTM B862 welded pipe and ASTM B338 condenser/heat-exchanger tube are different purchase routes. Five company-owned sources met the rule and expose enough fields to make that boundary explicit.
How the five company sources were selected
We froze the query Grade 7 titanium pipe supplier ASTM B861 UNS R52400 on 1 September 2026. Eligible sources were company-owned pages expressly offering Grade 7 pipe or tubular product and exposing the grade plus a standard, manufacturing route, size, inspection or traceability field. Beiyu, marketplaces, directories, third-party rankings and pages without a Grade 7 tubular route were removed. The order is a dated discovery record, not a supplier ranking.
A public page can identify a likely supply route. It cannot prove allocated stock, a current program approval, final schedule, lot compliance or suitability of material not yet produced or assigned. Those points remain dated quotation fields.
Company pages that met the rule
| Company source | Page role | Visible fields | RFQ check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium Industries | Seamless-pipe stock page | Grade 7 / UNS R52400, ASTM B861 and schedule/dimensional stock context | Confirm stock heat, actual dimensions, edition, condition and original mill release |
| Daxun | Grade 7 pipe/tube page | R52400, B338/B861 routes, product forms and corrosion context | Choose pipe or tube first; return the exact form, route, test plan and Pd result |
| Rewell Titanium | Grade 7 seamless tubular page | Dimensions and B338/B861/B862 labels on one product page | Resolve the standard conflict in a signed quotation and do not mix seamless/welded acceptance |
| Milling Metal | Grade 7 pipe page | Pd chemistry, seamless/welded routes, standards, condition and stated UT | Bind chemistry, process and NDE to the exact ordered line and heat/lot |
| Tanglu Metal | Multi-grade pipe/tube page | Grade 7 among B861/B862/B338 routes with traceability and test fields | Return one grade/form/standard/process combination instead of the catalogue family |
A page may use pipe and tube language together, yet the ordered outside-diameter convention, wall schedule, dimensional tolerances, manufacturing route and examination differ by specification. That ambiguity must be removed before comparing prices. A mill, stockholder and fabricator also carry different responsibility for the original heat, cut lengths, weld seam and final spool.
Choose B861, B862 or B338 before comparing quotes
| Decision | Choices visible in the source set | Required written return |
|---|---|---|
| Product form | B861 seamless pipe, B862 welded pipe, B338 heat-exchanger tube or fabricated spool | One deliverable, standard edition and dimensional convention per line |
| Grade identity | Grade 7 / UNS R52400 with palladium addition and heat trace | Original MTC with actual Pd/interstitial results and retained heat marking |
| Manufacture | Seamless extrusion/piercing/cold work or strip/plate forming and welding | Process route, starting-material link, heat treatment and repair rules |
| Dimensions | NPS/schedule or OD × wall, length, ovality, straightness and ends | Finished values, tolerances, end preparation and quantity by size |
| Acceptance | Chemistry, tensile, hydro/pneumatic, UT/ET/RT/PT as applicable and surface | Applicable methods, coverage, criteria, lot/sample and reports |
Do not let a Grade 7 chemistry table substitute for a pipe specification. State the nominal pipe size or actual OD convention, schedule or wall, finished length, end preparation and whether fittings or spools are included. For welded pipe, identify the starting strip/plate standard, seam process, heat treatment, permitted repairs and seam examination. For seamless pipe, identify the route and any cold-work/final anneal requirement. Palladium content must be an actual heat result linked through every cut length, not only a nominal alloy description. Corrosion suitability remains tied to medium composition, concentration, temperature, velocity, crevice geometry and contaminants; the buyer or its corrosion authority must define that design basis.
For a chemical transfer line, build an isometric-based material takeoff that separates mill lengths, shop spools, field closures, elbows, reducers, flanges, vents and drains. Specify weld-procedure qualification, purge dams, shielding-gas purity, oxygen monitoring, heat tint criteria, filler identity and welder continuity. Decide whether radiography targets only longitudinal mill seams, shop girth welds or both, and place hydrostatic boundaries after fabrication. Chloride-bearing insulation, gasket crevices, stagnant branches and shutdown residue can dominate localized attack even when bulk-stream chemistry appears acceptable. Those layout and fabrication controls distinguish a piping purchase from an exchanger-tube enquiry.
A conflict between visible page fields is a verification prompt, not proof that a company cannot supply the item. Preserve the difference, request a clean technical return and let the purchase order control final identity, geometry, responsibility and acceptance.

Send one controlled RFQ
| RFQ line | Buyer input | Supplier return |
|---|---|---|
| Service | Fluid composition/range, temperature, pressure, velocity, upset and design code | Compatibility exceptions and design responsibility boundary |
| Identity | Grade 7/R52400, standard/revision, seamless or welded and product form | Exact offered line with no pipe/tube substitution |
| Dimensions | NPS/schedule or OD × wall, lengths, ends, tolerances and quantity | Dimensional return, mass basis and cut/marking plan |
| Process/inspection | Melt/source, forming, seam, heat treatment, NDE and pressure test | Route, ITP, coverage, criteria and results |
| Documents | Original MTC, Pd/product analysis, NDE, pressure, dimensions and traceability | Release index linked to heat, lot and each length |
| Commercial | Fabrication boundary, packing, required date and destination | Current status, schedule, validity, exclusions and preservation |
Remove any source that cannot return the exact material, deliverable, finished geometry and acceptance evidence. Compare price, schedule and terms only after technical lines, responsibility boundary and document scope are aligned.
Where Beiyu fits
Beiyu is outside the five-company set. Its Grade 7 pipe enquiry route asks for service chemistry and design basis, UNS R52400 identity with actual palladium result, B861 seamless/B862 welded/B338 tube boundary, dimensions and ends, process/heat treatment, ordered NDE and pressure test, original mill traceability, quantity, fabrication boundary, packing and destination.
The fields in this section describe only Beiyu’s published enquiry route. They do not score the companies above and do not transfer to another company’s catalogue.

Specification detail with sources
Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B338, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.
Beiyu supplies seamless pipe OD 5 to 325 mm with 0.5 to 12 mm wall in lengths to 12000 mm, and welded pipe OD 6.35 to 1219 mm with 0.5 to 25.4 mm wall in lengths to 22000 mm.
These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B338 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
