Nickel 200 seamless pipe is a form-specific purchase: UNS N02200 under ASTM B161 or ASME SB161. It should not be quoted as B163 condenser/heat-exchanger tube, welded pipe or a generic “Nickel 200 tube” without the final dimensional and pressure-test basis. A quotation that says only “Nickel 200 tube” is incomplete. State whether dimensions follow OD-by-wall or an NPS/schedule convention and which specification controls. The buyer should also identify service fluid, temperature and design code so required pressure tests, supplementary examination and acceptance values come from the engineering basis rather than a website application list. For cut lengths, define end squareness, burr removal, bevel if any and remarking after cutting. For bundled export supply, require end protection, dry wrapping, bundle weight limit and heat/lot separation.
