Method and comparison scope
We retained accessible company pages that expressly expose titanium pipe and at least one buyer-verifiable field. This page uses pipe in the purchasing sense: NPS/DN, schedule or exact wall, seamless B861 or welded B862 route, length and end preparation. General heat-exchanger tube ordered by OD × wall to B338 is outside this list.
| Company page | Role shown | Useful published fields | What the quotation must clarify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Titanium Industries | Global distributor / service centre | Grade 2/7 seamless pipe, B861, a page-stated OD range and NPS/schedule reference tables. | Actual stock NPS, exact wall, grade, length and end; the larger reference-table rows do not prove current titanium inventory. |
| Titanium Fabrication Corp. (TiFab) | Manufacturer / fabricator | B861 seamless and B862 welded pipe, Grades 2/7, visible schedule table, rolled/welded and spool-fabrication context. | Whether the offer is straight mill pipe, rolled/welded pipe or a fabricated spool, plus NDE and hydrotest responsibility. |
| LTMTi | Manufacturer / supplier | Seamless/welded routes, B861/B862, explicit pipe-versus-tube distinction and detailed NPS/DN, wall, length and end RFQ fields. | Actual production route, standard edition, numeric tolerances, test acceptance and certificate issuer for the quoted line. |
| Xuyi Titan & Material | Manufacturer / supplier | Grades 1/2/7, B861/B862, separate route envelopes, schedule, length, end, finish and test-report fields. | Reconfirm unusually broad page ranges, NDE method and acceptance level, actual mill route and traceability. |
| Ylasting Titanium | Manufacturer / supplier | Seamless and welded tube/pipe, B338/B861/B862 distinction and manufacturing/inspection language. | Keep the quote on the B861/B862 pipe route; require NPS/DN or exact OD/wall and do not let the mixed page title substitute for the order line. |
Fix the pipe basis before comparing price
Pipe and tube can share a circular cross-section without sharing an ordering system. A schedule is a nominal wall family tied to a nominal pipe size; it is not a universal measured wall. The RFQ should state NPS/DN, the required actual wall, seamless or welded route, material specification and the dimensional reference used by the project.
| Decision | Why it matters | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Seamless or welded | B861 and B862 are different routes; seam inspection and feasible size can change. | Manufacturing route, standard/edition, process record and required NDE. |
| NPS/DN and wall | A schedule label alone can conceal the wall expected by the project line class. | NPS/DN, OD, exact nominal/minimum wall and dimensional reference. |
| Ends and length | Plain, bevelled, fixed and random lengths change fabrication yield and fit-up. | End drawing, bevel/root face, squareness, fixed/random length and tolerance. |
| Testing and traceability | “Tested pipe” does not identify hydro, pneumatic, RT/UT/PT or sampling. | Named tests, acceptance level, extent, report format and heat-to-length traceability. |

Send one controlled titanium pipe RFQ
Send candidates the same line-class extract or pipe schedule and require every alternative to be marked as a deviation. If a seller answers with B338 tube, ask whether it can quote the requested pipe specification rather than comparing unlike forms.
| RFQ field | Minimum entry | Common ambiguity |
|---|---|---|
| Material | B861 or B862 with edition, grade, condition and substitutions rule. | “Titanium pipe” without route or grade. |
| Dimensions | NPS/DN, OD, schedule and exact wall, length, straightness, ovality and end condition. | Schedule only, without confirming the project’s required wall. |
| Manufacture | Seamless/welded, weld process, heat treatment, surface and iron-contamination control. | “Seamless finish” used to describe appearance rather than route. |
| Inspection | MTR, dimensional/visual scope, hydro or pneumatic test and NDE method/extent where required. | “100% tested” without method or acceptance level. |
| Delivery | Piece/length basis, marking, end caps, separators, packing, Incoterm and destination. | Total metres without a length distribution. |
Where Beiyu fits
Beiyu’s Grade 7 titanium pipe page and welded titanium pipe page are transactional destinations for controlled pipe enquiries.
How to use this comparison
Normalize pipe route, grade, NPS/wall, length, ends and tests before comparing price. The existing titanium tube company comparison covers the tube supplier boundary; the seamless-versus-welded guide explains why route and specification must be stated together.

The four Beiyu links above keep Grade 7 pipe, welded pipe, general tube sourcing and manufacturing-route guidance separate. Recheck each external page on the next review date and confirm every stock or size claim on the dated quotation.

Specification detail with sources
Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B338, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.
Beiyu supplies seamless pipe OD 5 to 325 mm with 0.5 to 12 mm wall in lengths to 12000 mm, and welded pipe OD 6.35 to 1219 mm with 0.5 to 25.4 mm wall in lengths to 22000 mm.
These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B338 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
