Method and comparison scope
This company-page selection was checked on 1 September 2026 and is due for review on 1 March 2027. We retained accessible company pages that expressly expose titanium capillary, micro or precision tubing and at least one buyer-verifiable field. The labels overlap but are not interchangeable: a catalogue outside diameter does not establish the bore, route, cleanliness, tolerance or straight/coiled form needed by an instrument or medical drawing. Page-published envelopes are discovery evidence, not current-stock promises.
| Company page | Role shown | Useful published fields | What the quotation must clarify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ethen Rohre | Precision / capillary tube manufacturer | Grade 1 and 2, page-stated diameter, wall and length envelope, tolerance fields, stock-list and made-to-order routes. | Bore/ID, exact route, cleanliness, surface, straightness and alloy-specific feasibility inside the broad precision-tube range. |
| Superior Tube / AMETEK | Precision-tube manufacturer | Titanium among offered alloys; seamless and welded-drawn routes; very small OD/wall capability and straight/coiled forms. | Which printed size and form combinations are actually feasible in the specified titanium alloy; the page spans several alloys. |
| North Steel | Capillary-tube supplier | A stated maximum bore, visible OD/wall/ID examples, internal-cleanliness language and instrumentation framing. | Full feasible envelope, grade, tolerance method, straightness and objective cleanliness evidence; the examples are not a complete standard table. |
| ALB Materials | Catalogue / supplier | Pure-titanium capillary tube, a page-stated OD and wall range, and a catalogue identifier. | Chemistry/grade, manufacturing route, bore tolerance, certificate scope and whether the selected combination is orderable. |
| ABLTi | Titanium micro-tube supplier | Several CP and alloy grades, page-stated OD/wall envelope, specification references and an RFQ route. | Current governing standard and edition. The page mentions withdrawn ASTM B337, which should be clarified rather than repeated as an order standard. |
Control bore, wall and route as one geometry
A small OD does not by itself define a capillary tube. OD, ID and wall are mathematically related, but a drawing still needs to say which two dimensions control and how they are measured. Seamless, welded-and-drawn and other precision routes may also lead to different minimum lots, lengths, surface conditions and inspection evidence.
| Decision | Why it matters | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Controlling dimensions | An OD × wall callout and an OD × ID callout can drive different inspection methods. | Drawing with datums, tolerances, ovality and measurement method. |
| Alloy and route | A range advertised across alloys does not prove the same minimum wall in titanium. | Written alloy-specific feasibility, manufacturing route and governing document. |
| Delivery form | Straight length and coil affect straightness, handling, joining and usable yield. | Length/coil dimensions, end condition, straightness and packaging. |
| Internal condition | Instrumentation and fluid service may depend on particles, lubricant residue and surface state. | Agreed cleaning, preservation, inspection or test method with an acceptance limit. |

Send one controlled titanium capillary-tube RFQ
Attach a drawing and state which characteristics are acceptance-critical. If the supplier proposes a different route, dimensioning basis or standard, request a numbered deviation and a sample-inspection plan before comparing the price.
| RFQ field | Minimum entry | Common ambiguity |
|---|---|---|
| Material | Grade, chemistry/specification, edition, condition and prohibited substitutions. | “Pure titanium” without grade or certificate basis. |
| Geometry | Controlling OD/ID/wall, tolerance, ovality, straightness, length or coil and end finish. | Nominal dimensions without a controlling pair or test method. |
| Route and surface | Permitted manufacturing route, internal/external finish, heat treatment and lubricant restrictions. | “Seamless finish” used as a catch-all condition. |
| Inspection | Dimensional sampling, visual/borescope scope, leak or pressure test where relevant, and records. | “100% inspected” without characteristics or acceptance limits. |
| Delivery | Quantity, minimum usable length, packaging, cleanliness preservation, marking and destination. | Total metres without length distribution or handling limits. |
Where Beiyu fits
Beiyu’s titanium capillary-tube enquiry page is the transactional destination for a drawing-controlled requirement. The separate general titanium-tube company comparison covers a wider product family and should not replace the micro-tube screen used here.
How to use this comparison
Screen candidates by alloy-specific geometry and delivery form, then compare route, cleanliness and inspection. The Beiyu guide to seamless versus welded titanium tube explains the route boundary; the guide to comparing titanium quotations helps normalize deviations and exclusions.
Related Beiyu pages
The four Beiyu links above keep product enquiry, broad supplier discovery, manufacturing route and bid comparison separate. Recheck each external page on the next review date and require a sample or first-article record when small-bore cleanliness or geometry is critical.

Specification detail with sources
Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B338, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.
Beiyu supplies seamless tube OD 5 to 325 mm with 0.5 to 12 mm wall in lengths to 12000 mm, welded tube OD 6.35 to 1219 mm with 0.5 to 25.4 mm wall in lengths to 22000 mm, and capillary OD 1 to 5 mm with 0.1 to 2 mm wall.
These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B338 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
