Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 Tubes for Industrial Service
Supply envelope: seamless tube runs outside diameter 5 mm to 325 mm with wall 0.5 mm to 12 mm and length to 12000 mm; welded tube runs outside diameter 6.35 mm to 1219 mm with wall 0.5 mm to 25 mm and length to the same 12000 mm ceiling; capillary tube runs outside diameter 1 mm to 5 mm with wall 0.1 mm to 2 mm and length to 6000 mm.
Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 tubes are commercially pure nickel tubing products used where corrosion resistance, alkali resistance or high-purity nickel construction is required. Nickel 200 is UNS N02200. Nickel 201 is UNS N02201 and has lower carbon content for applications where carbon control is specified.

Size and Inspection Information
Tube RFQs should include outside diameter, wall thickness, length, tolerance, straightness, end condition and surface finish. If the tube is for heat exchanger or condenser use, include tube sheet fit, cleaning requirement, eddy current test requirement and packing limits.

What is the difference between Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 tube?
Nickel 201 has lower carbon than Nickel 200. Buyers normally choose between them according to the service temperature, welding requirement and customer specification.
Can tubes be supplied cut to length?
Cut length can be quoted when the required tolerance, end condition, quantity and packing method are provided with the RFQ.

Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 sit in those ranges under the UNS designations N02200 and N02201, and the tube listing pairs those two grades with ASTM B163.
That is where the tube listing prints it. The choice between the two grades is not a size question either: Nickel 201 is the low carbon version of Nickel 200 and is specified for extended service at elevated temperature, where the carbon carried by Nickel 200 leads to embrittlement, which is why the two UNS numbers are not interchangeable even though the tube dimensions are.
