Product Introduction
Inconel 718 Bar for High-Strength Nickel Alloy Parts
Inconel 718 bar, also known as Alloy 718 / UNS N07718, is a precipitation-hardenable nickel alloy bar used for high-strength components requiring controlled mechanical properties and heat treatment condition. Common RFQs include aerospace parts, oil and gas components, fasteners, shafts and drawing-based machined blanks.
The order should define the controlling standard, bar diameter, length, condition, heat treatment requirement, tolerance and inspection documents. If AMS or customer specifications apply, include the exact revision in the RFQ.

FAQ
Which standard should be used for Inconel 718 bar?
ASTM B637 is a common nickel alloy bar reference. AMS 5662 or AMS 5663 may be required for aerospace-related orders. The drawing or purchase specification should control the final requirement.
Can Alloy 718 bar be supplied in aged condition?
Yes, aged or precipitation-hardened condition can be quoted when the heat treatment requirement and mechanical property targets are included in the RFQ.

The Beiyu Titanium supply ranges publish nickel alloy round bar at Ø5.0 mm to 300 mm with length to 6000 mm. Inconel 718 sits in that range under the UNS designation N07718.
Bar is where delivery condition carries more weight than diameter on this alloy, since the same UNS number is supplied in more than one heat treated state and the mechanical values reported on the certificate follow that state. The enquiry should name the condition wanted, not only the diameter and the length. Two bars of identical diameter in the same UNS number can report different mechanical values, and the condition line is what separates them.
