Method and comparison scope
This company-page selection was checked on 1 September 2026 and is due for review on 1 March 2027. We retained accessible company pages that expressly present titanium clad plate or a defined procurement route for it. Manufacturer, mill and sourcing-service roles are kept separate. The page tells a buyer where to investigate; it does not replace a project specification. Base metal, cladding alloy, bonding route, dimensions, clad thickness, heat treatment, flatness, bond acceptance, surface and certificate issuer still belong on the RFQ.
| Company page | Role shown | Useful published fields | What the quotation must clarify |
|---|---|---|---|
| JFE Steel | Steel / titanium manufacturer | Roll-clad titanium-steel route, rectangular or trapezoidal shapes, surface statements and tube-sheet examples. | Project size envelope, base/clad grades, rolling route, heat treatment and acceptance. Much of the size information is graphical and should be re-confirmed. |
| NobelClad | Explosion-welded clad manufacturer | Explosion-welding route, chemical-equipment applications, plate/liner capability and proposed shear, UT, thickness and finish checks. | Which acceptance criteria are contractual. The product sheet’s recommendations must not be presented as universal code rules. |
| Jiangsu Runbang | Clad-material manufacturer | Titanium-steel clad plate, explosion, roll and combined routes, plus clad heads and tube sheets. | Current producing facility, process route, maximum project envelope, qualification records and project-specific test plan. |
| Nanjing Baotai | Nonferrous / clad-material manufacturer | Titanium-stainless and titanium-steel combinations, clad tube sheets, explosion-bonded and vacuum-rolling routes. | Exact product route, producing entity, current certificates and which company-scale claims are relevant to acceptance. |
| Meritus Technology | Sourcing, inspection and export service | Supplier qualification, hold-point inspection, EN 10204 documentation and export support for China-sourced plate. | Actual producing mill, bond route, certificate issuer, inspection authority, contractual seller and warranty boundary. |
Treat bonding route and acceptance as separate decisions
Roll bonding and explosion bonding are not labels to swap after quotation. The route interacts with plate combination, available envelope, heat treatment, subsequent forming and the acceptance plan. A sourcing/inspection service is another distinct route: it may coordinate mill qualification and hold points but is not automatically the producer named on the material record.
| Decision | Why it matters | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Metal combination | Titanium grade, backing metal and any interlayer define the ordered composite. | Layer schedule, heat/plate traceability and certificates for each constituent. |
| Bonding route | Route affects feasible geometry, process qualification and later fabrication planning. | Named route, qualified procedure or agreed production record, and producing facility. |
| Bond acceptance | Bond coverage, shear testing and ultrasonic examination need explicit criteria and sampling. | Project ITP naming method, extent, acceptance level, witness points and report deliverables. |
| Finished condition | Dimensions, flatness, clad thickness, surface and edge preparation can change after bonding and heat treatment. | Approved drawing, final inspection report and repair/deviation disposition. |

Send one controlled titanium clad-plate RFQ
Issue one layer schedule and one inspection plan to every candidate. If the supplier proposes a different backing grade, interlayer, bonding route or acceptance threshold, require a numbered deviation before commercial comparison.
| RFQ field | Minimum entry | Common gap |
|---|---|---|
| Layer schedule | Clad grade/thickness, backing grade/thickness, interlayer if any, tolerances and governing documents. | Only total thickness or “titanium clad steel.” |
| Geometry | Finished length, width, shape, flatness, edge condition, datum and fabrication allowance. | Mill envelope substituted for finished drawing dimensions. |
| Manufacture | Required or proposed bonding route, heat treatment, levelling and surface preparation. | “Clad plate” without the producing route or facility. |
| Inspection | Bond UT, shear/tensile tests where specified, clad thickness, visual/surface checks and ITP hold points. | A certificate reference without methods, extent or acceptance values. |
| Records and logistics | Constituent and composite certificates, traceability map, reports, marking, preservation and export packing. | “3.1 certificate” without identifying the producer and covered tests. |
Where Beiyu fits
Beiyu accepts controlled enquiries for titanium clad plate and titanium clad steel plate. These pages are transactional destinations, not entries in the company comparison.
How to use this comparison
First choose the required supply role and permitted bonding route. Then normalize the technical and documentation boundary. The Beiyu guide to pressure-vessel cladding thickness and ordering helps structure the layer schedule; the guide to comparing titanium quotations exposes exclusions before award.
Related Beiyu pages
The four linked Beiyu pages separate product enquiry, engineering order fields and bid comparison. They do not validate a company’s published process claims. Re-confirm the source page, producing facility and project-specific acceptance plan at the next review or whenever the equipment drawing changes.
Published by Beiyu Titanium. This is a reproducible comparison of five company-owned titanium clad-plate pages. It is not an independent ranking and does not score bonding quality, capacity, price, schedule or project performance. Beiyu is not included in the compared set.

Specification detail with sources
Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B265, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.
Beiyu supplies thin plate and sheet 0.5 to 3 mm thick in widths to 1500 mm, and heavy plate 3 to 70 mm thick in widths to 2500 mm, both in lengths to 6000 mm, with surface condition stated on the order.
These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B265 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
