Alloy 718 bar pages can describe solution-treated stock, aged bar, aerospace AMS routes, oil-and-gas variants or forging billet on one screen. Five company-owned sources passed this review. The comparison keeps product form and heat-treatment condition visible instead of treating every N07718 line as equivalent.
How the five company sources were selected
We froze the query Inconel 718 bar supplier manufacturer ASTM B637 AMS 5662 on 1 September 2026. Eligible sources were accessible company-owned bar pages or company-hosted technical/line-card documents that expressly exposed Alloy 718/N07718 and a bar, condition or specification field. Beiyu, marketplaces, directories, third-party lists, duplicate domains and pages based in excluded geographies were removed. The sequence is a dated discovery record, not a performance ranking.
A public page can identify a likely supply route. It cannot prove the current heat, capacity, lead time, inspection result or fitness of material that has not yet been produced or allocated. Those points remain dated quotation fields.
Company pages that met the rule
| Company source | Page role | Visible fields | RFQ check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Special Metals | Trademark/alloy producer technical bulletin | INCONEL alloy 718; hot-rolled bar property tables and heat-treatment/property context | The bulletin is not a current size list; use a property row only with its exact form, size and heat-treatment condition |
| Rolled Alloys | Company-hosted round-bar line card | 718 round bar with AMS 5662 and form-availability markers | A line-card marker does not prove current heat, diameter or length; request current stock/mill route and certificate |
| voestalpine Specialty Metals | Company-hosted Alloy 718 data sheet | 718/2.4668/N07718; B637/SB637 bar and AMS 5662/5663 condition mapping | Keep solution-annealed and aged routes separate and ask which one controls the offer |
| Shanghai NC Metal Materials | China bar supplier page | Round, hex, square, billet/bloom and cold-finished routes with B637/AMS strings and published sizes | Forging billet and finished bar are different deliverables; do not transfer one range or condition to another |
| Seather Technology | China manufacturer/supplier round-bar page | N07718; B637/SB637 and multiple AMS routes; 4-500 mm OD, 50-6,000 mm length; multiple finishes | The long standard/finish list does not prove every combination; bind one melt route, condition and inspection package |
The company pages answer different questions. A producer bulletin explains condition/property relationships, a line card signals a sales route, and the product pages expose shapes or ranges. None alone proves the exact melt route, heat-treatment condition, size and acceptance package available for the buyer’s order.
Condition and melt route must travel with the Alloy 718 name
| Decision | Choices visible in the source set | Required written return |
|---|---|---|
| Material identity | Alloy 718 / INCONEL alloy 718 / UNS N07718 | Exact designation tied to the heat and certificate |
| Product form | Round, hex, square, flat, hollow bar or forging billet | One finished or intermediate form with dimensions |
| Specification | B637/SB637 or an exact AMS/customer route | One designation and revision applicable to the delivered form |
| Condition | Solution treated, solution treated plus aged, direct aged or another ordered route | Heat-treatment cycle/condition and required mechanical property basis |
| Melt/inspection route | VIM/VAR/ESR or project route where required; UT and other examinations | Melt history, sampling, acceptance level and records |
AMS 5662 and AMS 5663 are not two spellings of the same condition. The project drawing or purchase specification must select the applicable bar route and revision. ASTM B637 can be a bar/forging route, but it does not erase condition, size, melt practice or supplementary examination requirements. Compare quotations only after those fields match.
A page conflict is a verification prompt, not a finding that a company cannot supply the item. Quote the page as observed, ask for a clean technical offer and make the purchase order control the final identity, form and acceptance route.

Send one controlled RFQ
| RFQ line | Buyer input | Supplier return |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Alloy 718 / N07718 and any chemistry/project restrictions | Exact offered designation and heat chemistry |
| Form/size | Round/hex/flat/hollow bar or billet; diameter/section, length, tolerances and straightness | One finished dimensioned line |
| Specification/condition | Exact B637/AMS/customer specification and revision; solution/aged condition | Governing route and returned heat-treatment condition |
| Melt/process | Required melt practice, forging/rolling/cold-finishing route and surface | Melt/process history and finish tied to the item |
| Inspection/documents | Chemistry, mechanical tests, UT/PMI/dimensional checks, sampling, traceability and certificate | Acceptance plan and records tied to heat/lot |
| Commercial | Quantity, cutting, marking, packing, required date and destination | Current stock/mill route, schedule, validity and exceptions |
Remove any source that cannot return the exact material, form, condition and finished dimensions. Compare price and lead time only after the technical lines and document scope are aligned.
Where Beiyu fits
Beiyu is outside the five-company set. Its current Inconel 718 bar page identifies Alloy 718/N07718 and lists ASTM B637, AMS 5662 and AMS 5663 only as common order routes. Diameter, length, tolerance, straightness, surface and condition remain RFQ fields; solution-treated and aged deliveries are not treated as interchangeable. Beiyu confirms the applicable specification/revision, heat treatment, inspection and documents before quotation.
The figures in this section describe only Beiyu’s published enquiry route. They do not score the companies above and do not transfer to another company’s catalogue.

Specification detail with sources
Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B348, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.
Round bar runs 1 to 500 mm diameter, square 3 x 3 to 500 x 500 mm, flat 3 x 12.7 to 30 x 500 mm and hexagon up to 17 mm across flats, in lengths to 6000 mm. The precision ground route covers 3.175 to 25.4 mm diameter at +/-0.0127 mm, tightened to +/-0.0076 mm against a drawing, with straightness held to 0.5 mm per metre and 0.3 mm per metre at 25 mm and under.
Bar from the precision ground line runs five inspections at 100 percent coverage rather than by sampling: ultrasonic, eddy current, surface optical, infrared laser diameter and straightness. The ultrasonic parameters are immersion method, focused longitudinal wave, 100 percent of the circumference, a 1.2 mm flat-bottom hole reference at 80 percent screen height, 10 MHz, Class A1, to AMS-STD-2154 or GB/T 5193. These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B348 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
