Titanium Bicycle Tubing Suppliers: Five Company Pages Compared

Grade 9 titanium tubing material for bicycle frame RFQ

Grade 9 titanium tube is widely associated with bicycle frames, but a general seamless tube and a builder-ready butted or shaped tube are not the same line item. Five company-owned pages met the rule. The comparison separates straight-gauge, double-butted, shaped and frame-component routes and keeps structural design responsibility with the frame builder.

How the five company sources were selected

We froze the query Grade 9 titanium bicycle frame tubing supplier butted tube on 1 September 2026. Eligible pages were accessible company-owned sources expressly covering titanium bicycle tubes or frame-specific tube technology and exposing a grade, OD, wall profile, length, shape or builder-use field. Beiyu, geographies excluded by site policy, marketplaces, directories, third-party rankings and finished-frame pages without a meaningful tubing field were removed. The sequence records discovery after exclusions; it is not a performance or safety ranking.

A public page can identify a likely supply route. It cannot prove the allocated lot, final schedule, inspection result or suitability of material or equipment that has not yet been produced or assigned. Those points remain dated quotation fields.

Company pages that met the rule

Fields visible on five company-owned sources
Company source Page role Visible fields RFQ check
Feather Tech Builder-facing butted-tube catalogue Grade 9; double-butted part numbers with OD/wall/length and frame-position suggestions; straight-gauge route A use suggestion is not frame design approval; return profile, tolerance, straightness, surface and lot certificate
TSM Technology Grade 9 bike-frame tube page B338/SB338 and AMS labels; broad OD, seamless/welded and test options Pipe schedules and industrial ranges do not define thin-wall bike tube; request the exact profile/specification
Chalco Titanium Bicycle tube/component supply page Seamless, welded, bent and Y-shaped tube routes plus frame components and OEM context Capability prose needs a tube grade, wall profile, tolerance, fatigue basis and certificate return
Litespeed Bicycles Shaped-frame-tube technology page Tube-specific shaping and load-path design context Confirm whether loose tubesets/OEM supply or only finished frames are offered before treating it as a source
Ti-Shop Distributor Grade 9 collection Grade 9, seamless/welded, OD selection and precut/full-length fields Grade 9 tube is not automatically butted bicycle tubing; specify wall profile and builder acceptance

Only Feather Tech publishes a compact part-number table for builder-facing double-butted tubes in this set. The others range from general Grade 9 tube to shaped proprietary frame technology. That difference belongs in the sourcing decision: decide whether the builder needs raw straight-gauge tube, a profiled tubeset, formed components or a finished frame/OEM service.

Keep tube supply separate from frame design

Decisions that must remain separate on the purchase line
Decision Choices visible in the source set Required written return
Material Grade 9 or another drawing-approved alloy Exact designation, chemistry/mechanical route and lot certificate
Tube construction Seamless, welded or supplier-specific formed route Applicable specification, condition and manufacturing declaration
Wall profile Straight gauge, single/double butted or continuously profiled Profile drawing with end/mid wall, transition location and tolerances
Section/shape Round, ovalized, tapered, bent or Y-shaped Finished section, orientation, straightness/twist and inspection
Builder boundary Loose tube, matched tubeset, formed component, OEM frame or finished frame Explicit deliverables and responsibility for frame design, welding and validation

ASTM B338 or another tube specification can define material and tube requirements, but it does not validate a bicycle frame geometry, weld design or fatigue life. The frame builder should own the load cases, tube profile selection, joints, welding procedure, alignment and final validation. The tube supplier should return the material and geometry evidence it controls.

A page conflict is a verification prompt, not a finding that a company cannot supply the item. Record the page as observed, ask for a clean technical return and make the purchase order control the final material, geometry, responsibility and acceptance route.

Titanium tube product form

Send one controlled RFQ

Fields to hold constant across quotations
RFQ line Buyer input Supplier return
Material/standard Grade 9 designation and applicable tube specification/condition Offered route, chemistry/mechanical results and traceability
Tube profile OD/shape, end and centre walls, butt transitions, length and tolerances Profile drawing and dimensional report
Forming/surface Bending/shaping state, straightness, ovality, finish and cleanliness Process boundary and measurable acceptance
Fabrication interface Weld ends, mitre/machining allowance, component fit and heat-treatment limits Delivered-end condition and builder instructions
Inspection/documents Visual/dimensional, NDE if required, lot traceability and MTC Inspection schedule and records tied to every tube/lot
Commercial Tubeset or line-item quantities, cut plan, packing, date and destination Current availability, MOQ, schedule, validity and exceptions

Remove any source that cannot return the exact material, deliverable, finished geometry and acceptance evidence. Compare commercial terms only after the technical lines, responsibility boundary and document scope are aligned.

Where Beiyu fits

Beiyu is outside the five-company set. Its current bicycle-tubing product route is Grade 9 and asks for tube construction, OD or section, straight or butted wall profile, length, finish, tolerances, quantity, inspection and certificate requirements. Frame design, weld design and validation remain the buyer or frame builder’s responsibility unless separately contracted.

The fields in this section describe only Beiyu’s published enquiry route. They do not score the companies above and do not transfer to another company’s catalogue.

Specification detail with sources

Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B338, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.

Seamless tube runs OD 5 to 325 mm with 0.5 to 12 mm wall in lengths to 12000 mm; frame tube sizes are cut from that range to the builder drawing.

These are Beiyu published supply figures, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to the standards named above and are confirmed against the exact edition on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
