Niobium flat-product pages switch among sheet, plate, strip, board and disc, and some display standards from other product forms. Five company-owned pages passed this review. The comparison keeps the published wording visible and turns every form or designation conflict into a quotation check.
How the five company sources were selected
We froze the query niobium sheet plate supplier manufacturer ASTM B393 on 1 September 2026. Eligible results were accessible company-owned pages that expressly offered niobium sheet or plate and exposed a grade, dimension, condition, finish or inspection field. Beiyu, marketplaces, directories, third-party lists, duplicate domains and pages limited to bar, tube, foil or finished components were removed. The sequence is a dated discovery set, not a quality score.
A public page can identify a likely supply route. It cannot prove the current heat, capacity, lead time, inspection result or fitness of material that has not yet been produced or allocated. Those points remain dated quotation fields.
Company pages that met the rule
| Company source | Page role | Visible fields | RFQ check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Admat | Niobium plate/sheet supplier page | B393; multiple pure and alloy grades; thickness-grouped maximum widths; cold-rolled/vacuum-annealed route | One thickness group is visibly duplicated; require the applicable row, grade, condition and current quotation |
| Heeger Metal | Supplier/manufacturer plate, sheet and disc page | Separate sheet/plate/disc ranges; R04200/R04210 plus alloy grades; multiple standards and finishes | The data block switches between flat and non-flat standards and contains spelling defects; bind one form and exact UNS |
| Stanford Advanced Materials | Supplier sheet/plate product page | B393-09; R04200/R04210; customized dimensions and a page-published sheet/plate split | The edition is old and the split is a supplier convention; require current edition, form, tolerance and condition |
| Eagle Alloys | Distributor/supplier niobium plate page | Plate 0.188-4 in; thinner sheet/strip/foil route; multiple niobium grades and alloys | The niobium page contains a stray tantalum-stock sentence; confirm material identity and current availability |
| Western Alloys | Manufacturer sheet/plate page | Pure Nb, C-103, Nb-Ti and Nb-Zr routes; B393/B654 wording; published dimension/tolerance table | A broad alloy/property table does not map every size to every alloy; request the applicable row and condition |
The five pages use different sheet/plate splits. A buyer should not choose the contractual form from thickness alone. State the form and applicable product specification together, then require the supplier to return the exact grade, dimension table and condition used for its offer.
Keep sheet, plate, strip and disc separate from bar and tube
| Decision | Choices visible in the source set | Required written return |
|---|---|---|
| Material identity | R04200/R04210 or an explicitly named niobium alloy | One exact UNS and chemistry tied to the lot |
| Flat-product form | Sheet, strip, plate, board or disc | Contractual form label plus thickness, width/diameter and length |
| Product specification | ASTM B393 for applicable niobium strip, sheet and plate routes | Do not transfer B392 bar or B394 tube wording to flat product |
| Condition | Cold rolled, annealed/vacuum annealed, unannealed or other stated route | Named condition, grain/surface requirement and downstream forming basis |
| Surface and geometry | Cleaned, pickled, polished; flatness, edge and tolerance | Finished acceptance values and inspection points |
ASTM B392, B393 and B394 perform different jobs: bar/rod/wire, flat product and tube. A company page may show them together for navigation. The purchase line should not. It should tie one exact niobium grade and one sheet/plate/strip form to B393 or another project-approved flat-product route, with dimensions and condition stated independently.
A page conflict is a verification prompt, not a finding that a company cannot supply the item. Quote the page as observed, ask for a clean technical offer and make the purchase order control the final identity, form and acceptance route.

Send one controlled RFQ
| RFQ line | Buyer input | Supplier return |
|---|---|---|
| Grade/chemistry | Exact UNS, purity or RRR requirement where applicable | Offered designation and chemistry limits |
| Form/specification | Sheet, strip or plate and applicable B393 edition/project specification | One form and governing acceptance route |
| Dimensions | Thickness, width/diameter, length, tolerances, flatness and edges | Finished values in a single unit system |
| Condition/surface | Rolled/annealed condition, cleaning, finish and roughness if critical | Delivered condition and measurable surface acceptance |
| Inspection | Chemistry, mechanical/dimensional checks, flatness/surface, NDE and sampling | Inspection plan and records tied to heat/lot |
| Commercial/records | Quantity, cut plan, marking, packing, certificate and required date | Current route, schedule, validity and document package |
Remove any source that cannot return the exact material, form, condition and finished dimensions. Compare price and lead time only after the technical lines and document scope are aligned.
Where Beiyu fits
Beiyu is outside the five-company set. Its current niobium product source lists R04200 and R04261 routes and separates B392 bar from B393 sheet/plate. The flat-product enquiry envelope is 0.03 to 10 mm thick, 30 to 1,000 mm wide and 50 to 2,000 mm long, in annealed condition with bright or pickled surface options. These values are not stock; grade/form/specification alignment is confirmed at quotation.
The figures in this section describe only Beiyu’s published enquiry route. They do not score the companies above and do not transfer to another company’s catalogue.

Specification detail with sources
Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B265, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.
Beiyu supplies sheet and thin plate 0.5 to 3 mm thick in widths to 1500 mm, and heavy plate 3 to 70 mm thick in widths to 2500 mm, both in lengths to 6000 mm, with surface condition stated on the order.
These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B265 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
