Method and comparison scope
We retained accessible company pages that expressly expose titanium sheet and at least one buyer-verifiable field. A page had to distinguish a sheet offer from an incidental material mention. Published ranges help create an RFQ shortlist, but they do not prove current stock, the feasibility of every grade-size combination or acceptance to a buyer’s drawing.
| Company page | Role shown | Useful published fields | What the quotation must clarify |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chalco Titanium | Manufacturer / supplier | Multiple CP and alloy grades, stated 0.3–4.75 mm sheet range, coil/flat/cut forms, sizes, finishes and fabrication options. | Quote-date availability, exact tolerance and flatness, finish definition, certificate type and whether a claimed service is in the contractual scope. |
| Titanium Industries | Global distributor / service centre | Stated 0.012–0.160 inch range, several grades, near-net blank and grain-direction enquiry routes. | The governing sheet specification and edition. Its visible standards table contains apparent product-form mismatches that should not be copied into a PO. |
| Continental Steel & Tube | Distributor catalogue | Filterable catalogue with item, grade, thickness, width and length fields and multiple standard-size examples. | Which exact item/grade is available now, cut tolerance, condition, surface, minimum quantity and certificate issuer. |
| TIMET | Integrated mill / manufacturer | Alloy-sheet manufacturing, service-centre standard sizes and a custom gauge/width/length/alloy route, primarily for aerospace applications. | The requested alloy, specification, gauge, condition, release status and actual manufacturing or service-centre route; the page is not a complete stock table. |
| Tricor Metals | Titanium service centre | Sheet within a broader titanium mill-product range, with cutting and project-support context. | Sheet-only grade and size feasibility, source mill, condition, finish, cutting tolerance, traceability and MTR scope. |
Keep sheet, plate and foil on separate order lines
The words sheet, plate and foil are not safe substitutes for a numeric requirement. ASTM B265 covers several flat-product forms; it does not make every supplier’s marketing thickness boundary identical. A controlled RFQ starts with the actual thickness, width, length, condition and surface, then asks the seller to name the product form and governing specification on the offer and certificate.
| Decision | Why it matters | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness and flatness | A nominal gauge without tolerance or flatness can fail forming, nesting or fixture requirements. | Numeric tolerance, flatness method, sample plan and measured report. |
| Grade and condition | The same dimensions may be offered in CP, alpha-beta or beta alloy with different forming behavior. | Specification/edition, grade, condition and heat-lot MTR. |
| Direction and surface | Grain direction, pickled/mill/polished condition and permitted defects can affect forming and appearance. | Rolling-direction marking, finish definition, Ra if needed and visual acceptance sample. |
| Cutting route | Shearing, laser, waterjet and near-net blanking leave different edges and heat-affected conditions. | Cut method, edge allowance, burr limit, dimensional inspection and nesting responsibility. |

Send one controlled titanium sheet RFQ
Send every candidate the same order line and drawing. If a seller proposes plate, strip, coil or a different specification, require a numbered deviation rather than allowing the terminology to change silently inside the quote.
| RFQ field | Minimum entry | Common ambiguity |
|---|---|---|
| Material | Specification and edition, grade, condition, permitted source route and prohibited substitutions. | “Titanium sheet” without grade or certificate basis. |
| Geometry | Thickness × width × length, tolerances, flatness, squareness, rolling direction and quantity. | Standard size without a tolerance or usable-edge requirement. |
| Surface and edges | Finish, cleaning/descaling, Ra where necessary, cut method, burr and edge condition. | “Mill finish” used without an agreed visual or roughness reference. |
| Inspection | MTR, dimensional sample plan, surface acceptance, PMI or additional tests only where required. | “Full certificate” without naming results and traceability. |
| Delivery | Piece/weight basis, marking, separators, edge protection, packing, Incoterm and destination. | Total kilograms without sheet count or packing limits. |
Where Beiyu fits
Beiyu’s Grade 2 titanium sheet page is a transactional destination for a controlled sheet enquiry. The existing titanium plate company comparison covers a thicker/product-role boundary and should not be used as a substitute.
How to use this comparison
First normalize grade, gauge, usable dimensions and condition. Then compare surface, cutting, inspection and certificate scope. Beiyu’s titanium foil company comparison keeps thin foil sourcing separate, while the sheet-or-plate guide explains why the actual order dimensions outrank a marketing label.
Related Beiyu pages
The four Beiyu links above keep sheet enquiry, plate suppliers, foil suppliers and form selection separate. Recheck each external page on the next review date and require quote-date confirmation of any range or service described as available.
Published by Beiyu Titanium. This page compares five company-owned titanium sheet pages. It is a sourcing snapshot, not a quality ranking. Sequence follows the frozen discovery method; Beiyu is not part of the compared set.

Specification detail with sources
Beiyu Titanium publishes this list and is not part of the comparison above. For readers who want the publisher’s own figures on the same basis they would ask of any supplier on this page, the material is specified to ASTM B265, and each order carries an EN 10204 type 3.1 certificate with heat and pour numbers by order scope.
Beiyu supplies sheet and thin plate 0.5 to 3 mm thick in widths to 1500 mm, and heavy plate 3 to 70 mm thick in widths to 2500 mm, both in lengths to 6000 mm, with surface condition stated on the order.
These are Beiyu published supply figures and inspection parameters, not limits taken from the standard; limit values belong to ASTM B265 and are confirmed against the exact edition named on the purchase order. Certification is stated as a production capability, and no stock position, delivery time or price is implied by any figure on this page.
