How the seven company pages were selected
We ran the query refractory metal suppliers on Google with United States and English settings on 2026-08-29 and froze the first page of organic results. We included a result when the company owned the ranking URL and that URL directly presented refractory-metal products, material capability or supply. Directories, research articles, market reports, marketplaces and Beiyu’s own site were excluded by the same rule.
Seven company pages met the rule. Their sequence reproduces the accepted result order after exclusions; it does not score material quality, processing capability, capacity, delivery, price or suitability for a future part.

Refractory-metal company pages that met the rule
| Company page | Role stated on its site | Refractory metals stated | Forms or manufacturing route stated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rembar | Mill-product supplier and custom component fabricator | Molybdenum, tantalum, tungsten, niobium and selected molybdenum/tungsten alloys | Wire, rod, sheet, plate, bar and tubing; machining, forming and fabrication |
| EFINEA Metals | Supplier of special-purpose refractory metals and alloys | Molybdenum, Mo-La, TZM, niobium, rhenium, tantalum, tungsten and tungsten heavy alloy | Material pages link plate, sheet, rod/bar, wire, strip/coil and other forms by metal |
| AEM Metal | Refractory-metal materials manufacturer | Tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, niobium, rhenium and related alloys | Powder, rod/bar, plate/sheet/foil, tube, wire, crucible, target, heating element and custom-part categories |
| Heeger Metal | Supplier of refractory metals and custom alloys with machining capability | Tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, niobium and named alloys such as TZM, Mo-La, Ta-2.5W and Ta-10W | Powder, flat products, rod/bar, tube/pipe, wire, target, crucible, mesh, ingot and customized parts |
| ADDMAN Group | Additive-manufacturing and precision-machining provider with refractory-alloy capability | Niobium C-103, tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and rhenium | Metal additive manufacturing and CNC machining for application-specific components rather than a general mill-form catalog |
| Avion Alloys | Refractory-metals distributor | Niobium, molybdenum, tantalum, tungsten and rhenium | No product-form list or numeric size envelope stated in the reviewed body |
| Advanced Refractory Metals | Manufacturer/supplier of refractory-metal products | Molybdenum, rhenium, tantalum, tungsten and niobium | Ribbon/foil, wire, plate/sheet, rod and tube/pipe, plus application-specific products |
Not stated describes the reviewed page. It does not mean the company cannot provide another form, size or process.
The same search query leads to three manufacturing routes
| Route shown by the page | Companies in this sample | What a buyer should send first |
|---|---|---|
| Mill products plus optional machining/fabrication | Rembar, EFINEA Metals, AEM Metal, Heeger Metal and Advanced Refractory Metals | Metal/grade, product form, dimensions and the governing material standard |
| Additive manufacturing and precision machining | ADDMAN Group | Part geometry, alloy/powder route, build requirements and finished-part acceptance |
| Material distribution | Avion Alloys | Exact metal, grade, form, size and required standard |
A powder-bed component, a rolled sheet and a machined rod are not interchangeable RFQ lines even when all three use the same metal name.
Which core metals each reviewed page names
| Company page | Mo | W | Ta | Nb | Re |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rembar | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Not stated on reviewed page |
| EFINEA Metals | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| AEM Metal | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Heeger Metal | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Named only within the W-Re alloy, not as a standalone supplied metal |
| ADDMAN Group | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes, C-103 | Yes |
| Avion Alloys | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Advanced Refractory Metals | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
This is a page-coverage map, not proof that every listed metal is supplied in every form or grade. The form and product standard still have to be checked on the material-specific page.
A numeric tantalum envelope outside the list
The company tables use only those companies’ own pages. Beiyu’s tantalum figures stay in this separate, unranked block:
| Beiyu tantalum form | Published supply envelope | Verified ASTM product route |
|---|---|---|
| Plate and sheet | 0.03 to 10 mm thick; 30 to 1,000 mm wide; 30 to 2,000 mm long | ASTM B708 plate, sheet and strip |
| Round bar | 3 to 100 mm diameter; length up to 3,000 mm | ASTM B365 rod and wire |
| Wire | 0.3 to 3.0 mm diameter | ASTM B365 rod and wire |
| Pipe/tube | 1.0 to 100 mm outside diameter; length up to 12,000 mm; wall thickness quoted per drawing | ASTM B521 seamless and welded tubes |
The table states Beiyu’s supply-envelope limits for R05200 unalloyed tantalum, R05252 Ta-2.5W and R05255 Ta-10W. Tantalum density is 16.69 g/cm³ for buyer weight estimates; a pipe estimate still needs the drawing’s outside diameter, wall thickness and length. The table does not state stock or that every grade, form and size combination is supplied.

Beiyu’s catalog gives tantalum pipe/tube a length limit of 12,000 mm and niobium pipe/tube a limit of 8,000 mm. The 4,000 mm difference is easy to lose when both metals sit on the same refractory-metal enquiry. A drawing that needs more than 8,000 mm must not copy the tantalum line onto niobium.
| Beiyu catalog line | Maximum listed length | Order check |
|---|---|---|
| Tantalum pipe/tube | 12,000 mm | Confirm diameter, wall, construction and ASTM B521 route |
| Niobium pipe/tube | 8,000 mm | Confirm diameter, wall, grade and applicable niobium tube specification |
Fields to send before comparing refractory-metal quotations
| RFQ field | Why it changes the route | What should come back |
|---|---|---|
| Metal and exact grade or purity | Pure metal, alloyed grade and powder feedstock are different material identities | One metal/grade designation and composition basis |
| Product form or manufacturing route | Sheet, rod, tube, wire, powder and a printed part use different purchase requirements | One identified mill form or build route |
| Governing specification | The standard follows both metal and form | One exact product standard and revision |
| Dimensions, tolerance and governing unit | Small refractory-metal parts often consume little material but depend on tight geometry | Confirmed finished dimensions and tolerance basis |
| Service medium, vacuum level or temperature | Corrosion duty, high-vacuum duty and furnace duty ask different questions of the same metal | Material confirmation tied to the stated environment |
| Condition, surface and fabrication intent | Forming, welding, machining and coating start from different conditions | Agreed starting condition and finish |
| Examination and document scope | The product standard and finished-part drawing may require different evidence | Agreed inspection, marking and reporting fields |
Limits of a public-page comparison
A public page cannot establish current material availability, achievable tolerance on a future geometry, powder-lot behavior, weld quality or service performance in an environment that has not been defined. It also cannot turn a material list into proof of every form and standard combination. Use the page to identify the likely supply route, then compare quotations only after each company receives the same metal/grade, form or build route, specification, drawing, dimensions and acceptance scope.
Where Beiyu Titanium sits
Beiyu Titanium published this page and is deliberately outside the list. Beiyu reviews tantalum, niobium, tungsten and molybdenum enquiries by metal/grade, form, dimensions, governing standard, service environment, condition, surface, fabrication intent, examination and reporting scope. The tantalum and niobium length figures above show why the product-form row must be checked metal by metal.
Specification detail with sources
Company roles, metals, forms and manufacturing routes come only from the seven linked company pages, checked 2026-08-29. Tantalum product-form scopes are from the current official ASTM pages: B708 for plate, sheet and strip; B365 for rod and wire; B521 for seamless and welded tubes. Beiyu’s tantalum and niobium dimensions come from its current refractory-metal catalog and remain subject to grade/form review.
